2023 Reserve Syrah “Sanctuary of Sea & Stone"
Brooding and indulgent, this Syrah opens with aromas of blackberry, dark cherry, and cracked pepper, layered with iron, cured meat, and worn leather. The palate is dense and enveloping, with ripe dark fruit unfolding into a textured, savory midpalate that feels both primal and refined. Fine-grained tannins lend structure, while a thread of freshness keeps it poised. The finish is long and lingering, leaving a sense of dark richness, spice, and quiet decadence. Aged for 17 months in 60% new barrels (100% French Oak) and 40% once-filled barrels. 98% Syrah, 2% Grenache
