Fermenting and aging wines in small lots from a handful of blocks carefully selected for their exceptional character and complexity is exactly what the Monsons had in mind for Goose Ridge when they founded the winery in 1999. The family has farmed in the Columbia Valley for almost five decades and is known for their commitment to quality. Goose Ridge Vineyard is built on that tradition.

The 2016 Estate Pinot Gris is a delicate, yet complex wine. Floral aromas of jasmine, honeysuckle, and orange blossom meld with soft fruit flavors of cantaloupe, pear, and tangerine. The wine is clean and crisp with the fruit flavors continuing onto an enjoyable, refreshing finish.
The 2015 GRV is a blend of the classic white wine varieties: Viognier, Grenache Blanc and Roussane. The wine expresses lovely enticing aromas of honey dew melon, papaya and apple crisp with hints of vanilla wafer. There is a wonderfully viscous mouthfeel that flows into a long lingering finish of baking spice, citrus and vanilla custard.
Our 2015 Chardonnay is a lovely, layered wine with attributes of toasted bread, crème brulee, apple, melon, papaya, vanilla and a hint of lemon zest. This wine has a pleasant, viscous mouthfeel, that carries on with a long, lingering, spicy, toasty finish. Aged for 10 months in 100% French Oak
Our 2016 Estate Riesling has a lovely floral bouquet with hints of Bartlett Pear, Granny Smith Apple, Key Lime and Lemon Zest. Corresponding flavors are complemented by a slight sweetness on the palate that gives way to a crisp finish.
Our 2016 Rosé has a beautiful, pink salmon color and a floral bouquet with highlights of citrus. Bright flavors of strawberry and papaya intermingle with delicate notes of tangerine. This wine is dry with a perfect balance between bright refreshing flavors and a crisp acidity. Serve chilled, It is a perfect match for grilled or poached fish or by itself as an aperitif.
The 2012 Sol Duc is a classic, complex expression of a Bordeaux-style blend. The aromatics are layered with violets, pencil shavings, and tobacco leaf. The palate is broad and velvety with flavors of sweet umami, roasted meats and ripe cherry. The finish is long and lingering with candied fruit notes.
Our 2012 Estate Merlot is lush and supple with floral aromas. Rich flavors of red cherry and berry combine with nutmeg and allspice. A long smooth finish reflects a touch of vanilla and toasty oak. Aged for 22 months in French and American oak barrels (60% new oak and 40% neutral oak).
Our 2012 Syrah has a rich, velvety texture and a fragrant floral aroma. Flavors of ripe plum, blackberry and marionberry blend together with a touch of toasty oak. Hints of vanilla and spice complete the long, soft finish of the wine. Aged for 22 months in 60% French and 40% American oak.

Our 2011 cabernet sauvignon is full of bold and expressive fruit flavors of dark cherry and blackberry that blend with cocoa and spice. An elegant wine with well-integrated tannins and expressions of black currants, mocha and hints of tobacco. This wine was aged for 22 months in 50% French , 50% American oak barrels (40% new and 60% second and third fill)
Aromatically, the 2012 Vireo shows deep and expressive layers of chocolate, licorice, brambly red fruit, and kirsch with a background of loamy earth and slate. The palate opens rich and broad with flavors of dark cherry and blackberry over a firm structure. The wine finishes with focused raspberry and cherry woven into toasty notes of nutmeg and savory herbs.
Vireo, A luscious red wine from Goose Ridge Estate Vineyards and winery, was crafted from a blend of 36% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Syrah and 29% Merlot. Meticulous viticulture and winemaking practices are reflected in Vireo's notable elegance and depth. This distinctive estate grown and bottled wine is full of concentrated flavors of dark cherry, glackberry and plum that blend with accents of coffee, cocoa and baking spice. 100% barrel-aged for 23 months (75% French and 25% American, 60% new oak), Vireo is a complex wine with a velvety texture and a long lingering finish.
