Fermenting and aging wines in small lots from a handful of blocks carefully selected for their exceptional character and complexity is exactly what the Monsons had in mind for Goose Ridge when they founded the winery in 1999. The family has farmed in the Columbia Valley for almost five decades and is known for their commitment to quality. Goose Ridge Vineyard is built on that tradition.

NEW RELEASE 2017 Vireo, A luscious red wine from Goose Ridge Estate Vineyards and Winery, was crafted from a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Syrah. Meticulous viticulture and winemaking practices are reflected in Vireo's notable elegance and depth. This distinctive estate grown and bottled wine is full of concentrated flavors of dark cherry, blackberry and plum that blend with accents of coffee, cocoa and baking spice. 100% barrel aged for 26 months.
Our 2017 Estate Cabernet Sauvignon is a complex and elegant wine that balances fruit and oak flavors. Dark cherry, dark berry and currant mingle with notes of tobacco and spice. Well-integrated tannins create a gold, yet silky, wine with a long finish. This wine was aged for 22 months in French and American oak barrels

This red blend shows expressive, fresh red fruit aromas (such as cherry, red plum, and raspberry) complimented by a sweet toasty notes of cocoa, vanilla, coconut, and a hint of creme anglaise.
The palate is full, fresh showing notes of ripe cherries and plums. The mid palate is juicy and ripe with intense fruit flavors. A lively spiciness picks up on the back palate and leads into a long finish showcasing mixed, wild berries alongside a lifting minerality.
Our 2016 Reserve Malbec is full of dark cherry, blackberry and cassis. Big and rich with a velvety mouthfeel, this Malbec has a long finish with a hint of pepper and spice.
Our 2016 Syrah has a velvety texture and a fragrant floral spicy aroma. Flavors of ripe plum, black berry and marionberry blend together with a touch of toasty oak. Hints of vanilla and spice complete the long, soft finish of this wine. Aged for 22 months in 70% French and 30% American oak barrels (40% new and 60% neutral oak).
First ever release of First Flight Cabernet
Our First Flight Cabernet Sauvignon opens with concentrated aromas of red plum and cherry layered with hints of mocha and baking spice. On the palate the wine has juicy notes of red currant and cranberry that leads into a move focused and muscular back palate. The finish resolves with harmonious flavors of dark cherry and mountain berries supported by integrated tannins.
The 2016 First Flight Red Blend is characterized by big, bold color, flavors, and structure. The wine opens with aromas of brambly blackberry, anise and caramel. The palate begins with flavors of concentrated blackberry and dark cherry supported by a big, yet supple, structure. Intense flavors of dark and spicy fruit continue onto the finish, which ends with notes of pepper, savory herbs and mountain berries.
The 2018 GRV is a blend of the classic white wine varieties. Viognier, Grenache Blanc, and Roussanne. The wine expresses lovely, enticing aromas of honeydew melon, papaya and apple crisp with hints of vanilla wafer. There is a wonderfully viscous mouthfeel that flows into a long lingering finish of baking spice, citrus and vanilla custard.

Bright flavors of strawberry and papaya intermingle with delicate notes of tangerine. This wine is dry with a perfect balance between bright refreshing flavors and crisp acidity. Served chilled, it is a perfect match for grilled or poached fish or by itself as an aperitif.

This wine is 100% Sauvignon Blanc and exhibits aromas of candied peaches and pineapple along with delicate, fragrant notes of jasmine and fresh-cut grass. There is a pleasantly refreshing bright acidity characterized by juicy tangerine, white peach and lemon zest with hints of honey.
Bright and crisp flavors and aromas of Bartlett pear, green apple, and honeydew melon are complemented by hints of floral and kiwi making our 2020 Pinot Gris perfect for pairing with food or sipping on a summer day.
Our 2019 Estate Riesling has a lovely floral bouquet with hints of Bartlett Pear, Granny Smith Apple, Key Lime and lemon zest. Corresponding flavors are complemented by a slight sweetness on the palate that gives way to a crisp finish.
