First Friday Art Tour with David Partridge

The First Friday Art Tour is an ArtWalla sponsored event which occurs every first Friday, May-October from 4 PM -7 PM. Featuring Walla Walla's locally owned galleries, wineries, restaurants and  businesses, each unique venue showcases a variety of mediums by local artists. Take a stroll downtown or a quick drive to the surrounding wineries for this fun event which is free and open to the public.

Goose Ridge is honored to showcase art by David Partridge. 

David Partridge was born in Spokane, Washington but lived most of his childhood in Idaho. His love and interest in art began in the fourth grade, when he did a painting in water colors of a buffalo, which was framed and displayed in the trophy case for a year. David then began using art in all his grade school and high school classes.

When David joined the Navy in 1963, his interest in oil painting was born. While serving two six month tours in Naples, Italy, he learned oil painting techniques from Italian artists and this opened up a whole new avenue of art. David is mostly a self- taught artist. He creates the majority of his work from photos and slides he has taken. He prefers working in oil and his favorite subjects are local landscapes and wildlife. Even after 60 years of painting, David still loves the challenge of creating a piece of artwork that will hold your thoughts, memories, and dreams.

David's art will be featured in our Walla Walla Tasting room for the months of May & June.
