Live Music with Chance Hayden

Always on the move as one of Portland’s most trusted guitar men, Chance Hayden brings his new solo set to Goose Ridge. For over a decade Hayden has performed extensively throughout the pacific northwest and beyond alongside diverse artists such as Jarrod Lawson, Darrell Grant, Farnell Newton, Devin Phillips, Andy Stokes and Lindsey Webster. Most recently, Hayden has spent time forwarding his own projects including his second album, Get Somethin’, released in 2018 on Atlanta Records extending his international recognition as “a player who definitely knows how to get a lot of color and tone out of his instrument“ (Dusty Groove). Hayden's guitar stylings are well informed through the jazz tradition while equally steeped with blues, funk and soul: the authentic mixture is a result of a lifetime's listening, learning, teaching, practicing and performing.
