The 2018 First Flight Red Blend is characterized by big, bold color, flavors, and structure. The wine opens with aromas of brambly blackberry, anise, and caramel. The palate begins with flavors of concentrated blackberry and dark cherry supported by a big, yet supple, structure. Intense flavors of dark and spicy fruit continue onto the finish, which ends with notes of pepper, savory herbs, and mountain berries.
