Join us as we taste through a choice selection of our recent vintages and some thirst quenching ciders, as The Cheese Lady sensorially guides us through a plethora of local, seasonal fresh cheese pairings. This is going to be an unforgettable tasting experience, and you will get a little education and hopefully find a new favorite local creamery to boot!

Early summer in Washington is glorious because milk-producing animals are living their best lives. As the baby ruminants have been weaned and are frolicking in the countryside, the milk flows. Munching on lush, Washingtonian pasture makes these animals content, which results in better quality milk. It is the best time of the year to consume local, seasonal cheese because spring and early summer consumption of lively vegetation translates into the cleanest, brightest, and most lip-lickable cheese that we will have all year. As the season progresses, the vegetation changes, as does the milk (it becomes more nuanced).
